Murfatlar & Clos des Colombes Vineyards
DAY 1
Departure from Bucharest in the morning. Transfer to Murfatlar (2 ½ hrs). Wine tasting program and visit to the Murfatlar vineyard.
At noon, wine tasting and lunch at the Clos des Colombes vineyard. You will taste different dry and semi-dry wines.
Transfer to Tulcea city, the gate to the Danube Delta. Lodging at Hotel Esplanada in Tulcea.
Drive to Hunedoara and excursion to Hunyad Castle.
DAY 2
Drive to Hunedoara and excursion to Hunyad Castle, then drive to Alba Iulia to see the magnificent Alba Carolina medieval citadel (XVIII century), with its Coronation Cathedral inside of it.
Continue to Biertan to see one of the most beautiful fortified church in Transylvania, dating from the Middle Ages.
Drive to Sighisoara and enjoy the atmosphere of the medieval citadel. Your 3* hotel Sighisoara is situated here. In the evening try an optional dinner at the restaurant situated in the house where Vlad Dracul lived in the XV century.
After breakfast, departure from Sighisoara to Harman and Prejmer
DAY 3
After breakfast, departure from Sighisoara to Harman and Prejmer, 2 UNESCO sites where you will discover a fantastic medieval architecture for peasant fortified towns.
Early afternoon, arrive in the city of Brasov and start a walking tour of the old section. You can see the Black Church (the largest between Vienna and Istanbul), the museum of the first school and the printing press house, as well as an amazing collection of old, rare books dating back from XI century, in the courtyard of St. Nicholas Church. See with your own eyes the narrowest street in the area (strada Sforii – 1.32 m wide).
Enjoy in the evening the charm of Sfatului Square, full of restaurants, bars, coffee-bars etc. Your 3* hotel (Bella Muzica) is situated very central near the square.
